He had been surplus to requirements for quite some time, I would think they are glad to get him off the payroll.

I saw him play his first game for Aberdeen against Motherwell at Fir Park a few years ago. I was pretty relaxed about it as I firmly believed he was a big tumshy.
I think he scored at least 1 that night but I still think he is a big tumshy.
