is gonna be a major problem for us and, I suspect, for many other clubs.

I think this will finish off some teams that are running hand-to-mouth already. Obviously hand-to-mouth is a particularly bad idea atm.
Reckon they'll cancel the Euros so domestic seasons can be extended.

I'm guessing the decision to suspend rather than play behind closed doors is to give clubs a chance to receive gate receipts but at a later date.
If things get worse and we won't be able to do that any time soon, could always play behind closed doors but stream the games to get some money in to the clubs.

Can't add up to that much money in the grand scheme of things.

They were talking about this subject on LBC this morning . The feeling is the competition will be postponed until next Summer . " The Euro's 21."

Strangely, the national league is still going ahead. Go figure.

If the season can't be completed and you can afford to, maybe don't ask for refund on your season ticket.

won't be the gate money most of that is collected through season tickets will be the cash people spend in the ground and on merch that the club will miss

4 home games left any season ticket holder asking for a refund if the season doesn’t end is a tight wad

Yes I don’t think we should expect a refund on our season ticket.
I’ve also bought additional tickets for the Exeter game on 25th April for friends, but I guess that may still take place.
I can’t understand why Cheltenham wasn’t cancelled. 60,000 punters all crammed in together.

Why shouldn't we?

Correct. According to those attending home performances have, on the whole, been attrocious. A full refund is probably appropriate. Let's face it the owners can well afford it.

We only had one home game out of the five in the postponed period anyway.
Definitely could be the death knell for some clubs. Maybe some for example were banking on having four home games during this period.

So you'd rather see the club struggle for the sake of Individually about £40?

The club won't struggle. It just means the multi-millionaire investors - some of whom we know about, some whom we don't - will have to cough up.

So you think they've just got a £120k just to throw about, wouldn't you rather they put that money on the pitch if they did?.

So you want individuals who might be desperate for the £40 in the current crisis to struggle but you are relaxed about multi-millionaires getting it easy? Unbelievable.

They can't be trusted to use the £120k wisely. Look at the dross they've signed already and put on the pitch week after week. Probably better to let the fans have their money back.

Just offer a reduced price season ticket for next season to adjust for lost home game attendance

With some of the crowds they have, they would easily have 3 metres between each supporter especially at Boreham Wood

We must have some sort of insurance in place that covers a scenario like this.

Probably business interruption insurance but a woman from the insurance industry said on the wireless last night the small print in the contract likely says that unknown diseases/virai are excluded.

Do you think us ordinary fans have got £120k to throw about?
