Original lineup: Green (Cheese and Onion) Blue (Salt and Vinegar)
Walker's lineup: Green (Salt and Vinegar) Blue (Cheese and Onion)

Why don't they do Cheese & Vinegar or Salt & Onion?

I always thought that green for cheese and onion and blue for salt and vinegar came first. I seem to remember Smiths and Golden Wonder were that way round and Walkers were never heard of then. It seems that Walkers came on the scene and bucked the trend but they have then become the largest producer of crisps in the UK.

The original way it how it should be. I seem to recall golden wonder took their position for granted in the market place and came unstuck. Walkers stepped in and bought them and pushed their products forward and the rest is history as they say.
Golden wonder crisps are better than walkers in my opinon

Being that Tayto invented the 1st flavoured crisp ( cheese & onion ) i'd say Red & Blue for them Blue & Blue for salt & vinegar & Orange & Blue for smoky bacon .

Pringles have got it right. Yes, I know they are a tube not a packet.
I don't like the colours of Tyrells' packets.

I can't understand this fixation for "brands" to change their packaging - I can't recollect Twiglets or Marmite being anything than what they are today and I lurve both

Aubergine flavour in a mauve packet would be nice
