Chelsea to buy a Scottish Club
It’s being reported that Chelsea want to buy either a championship or premiership club so that they can get around the rules which come in to play next season concerning the loaning of youth players etc. They have had an in depth look at one club although it remains unnamed. For history maybe Aberdeen? Maybe one of the Dundee clubs?

Well nearly all
Abramovich would have to give up just under a 1/4 of his billions to buy out Dermot D

I did think hearts as they were owned by a russian, but when I looked it up I think they are fan owned now. So I doubt they'd sell anytime soon.point nine one eight wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 9:59 amHibbs or Hearts more likelyThor wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 10:00 pm It’s being reported that Chelsea want to buy either a championship or premiership club so that they can get around the rules which come in to play next season concerning the loaning of youth players etc. They have had an in depth look at one club although it remains unnamed. Re: Chelsea to buy a Scottish Club
Indeed and its why the SFA cannot allow Scottish clubs to be used as feeder clubs for the EPL. Our game is corrupt enough.
Looking back at Mike Ashleys holding in Sevco Rangers the SFA restricted him to 10% because of conflict of interest issues arising from his ownership of Newcastle. Therefore, it would appear Chelsea could not buy a Scotch club.
The Ugly Sisters should join the EPL/EFL and that would make the Scottish game competitive and interesting. Motherwell would of course dominate and then be forced to leave for England.

Aberdeen me thinks is a no fans would riot, and boycott club rightly so, Rangers would sell they're soul, so far in the sh*t they would try and find a way to get they're hands on chelsea youngsters, other than that Hearts and HibbsThor wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2020 12:04 pmI did think hearts as they were owned by a russian, but when I looked it up I think they are fan owned now. Re: Chelsea to buy a Scottish Club
Just wondering why you think Hearts or Hibs fans (or indeed any other club) would be less upset than Aberdeen? Also, can I just point out that The Rangers have no soul. And thus can't sell it.point nine one eight wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 1:20 amAberdeen me thinks is a no fans would riot, and boycott club rightly so, Rangers would sell they're soul, so far in the sh*t they would try and find a way to get they're hands on chelsea youngsters, other than that Hearts and Hibbs

Sounds like a good idea. After all, Manchester City have already purchased Stirling.

It was just a hunch about Hibs and Hearts, They don't have the fan base of Aberdeen so easier to pick up, like the comment about Rangers made me smile, If no soul to sell the could sell their arse to Chelski, they have no honour, shame or principles, the prostitutes of the SPLEH16 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 7:30 amJust wondering why you think Hearts or Hibs fans (or indeed any other club) would be less upset than Aberdeen? I can't therefore understand why you would describe Sevco Scotland Ltd as a once great club.
