I don't go to any 3.00 Saturday matches or indeed away matches due to work commitments but I do go to as many weekday home games as I can and any early KO home games. I used to when I lived in Leyton between 1959 and 1977 but since getting married and moving away going to games became a low priority. So I have been a fan for nearly 60 years I was there on Saturday to savour the game and glory in its outcome. So as a Real fan it was an absolutely emotional experience that I am so happy to have had in my lifetime and to have shaken the hand of one of our saviours in the shape of Kent Teague made it even better. I will be at Wembley on the 19th having, unlike a few on here, bought my tickets as soon as they became available and going to support my One And Only Orient no matter what the outcome was going to be on the final Saturday.

I could have told you as i was getting onto the pitch i leapt from a seat on to the wall & stepped forward towards the pitch , forgetting my middle agedness i
Saw 2 things, red & green .

Tarmac & grass were hurtling towards my face & oomph thud . I didnt bother looking back as i got up & legged it from embarrassment.

I am an unashamed glory hunter. That's why, when I moved to London to live, I chose Orient in the first place. Only had to wait 33 years since my first game.

Admittedly I am a glory hunter who started supporting in 69/70 championship winning season. Has been non-stop success since then so feel a bit like a Man U fan from Cornnwall or somewhere

Definitely a glory hunter. But a patient one as I ain't seen much of it over the past 60 years of watching us play. But I keep plugging away in hope. I want to see more and more glory.

I'm definitely a glory hunter and have been since 1968.
My blatant opportunism has already been rewarded twice; in 1970 and again, two days ago.
Slowly, slowly catchee monkey.

I loved an exchange I witnessed Saturday: An old bloke was having a go at a young bloke for being on the pitch and called him a part timer. The young bloke just looked at him and said “I’m a season ticket holder, f*** off!”

You didn’t have work commitments on Saturday? That was lucky.

Been a glory hunting season ticket holder for 50 years.
Not been very successful in finding too much glory but when it happens it is all worth while.

Any chance of banning Hollowponds / NOM under the “constantly being a douchebag” rule?

Rather bizarrely - I've been about 12 games this season - Would've been more but I play on a Saturday

Background - My dad is a life long Orient fan went home and away as a kid, teenager and young adult, then stopped for a bit I think due to life getting busier, also wasn't a massive Hearn fan

As I kid I had a season ticket at Orient for about 5 years ish, I think 95-2000? Can remember the likes of Griffths, Ampadu, Inglethorpe, Joseph, Lockwood, Watt, Simba, Christie, Bayes, Barret, Smith, Low, Downer(looked class as a kid) in goal was unreal. I actually know Neil Gough who played for the Orient for a bit. Can remember Scunthorpe at Wembley 1-0 Calvo Garcia in a very dull game. Then during this era facing the likes of Leo Fortune West, Gabbiadini and I think Barry Hayles

I'm a West Ham fan but have a massive soft spot for Orient due to my old man, and to be blunt falling out of love with top-level commercial soulless football.

Blimey, Neil Gough! A name I've not heard in a long time.
