I’ve just read the plans from SUFC new, gigs-rich owner.
Staying at Root Hall? Adding 75,000 seats (surely a typo?) by buying up adjoining streets? Premiership in 4/5 years?
Please tell me I got so hammered last night that I’ve slept through to April.
C’mon you Os!

Southend News Network is a parody news account.
Unfortunately only those old enough would have got it when they saw the name Sheikh oonvakh, which is taken from the old TV advert for shake-an-vac.

Thanks: I thought being a loyal Os fan for 53 years had taken its toll.
I remember the Indian cricket commentator called Butta Makhar.

They’ve got another of their regular days in court this week over unpaid tax bills.

Could just be the usual, or they really could be in financial trouble this time.
