According to the Newport boss, only Dale Gorman came out of yesterdays game with any credit.
Strange how another Ex O , seems to be able to shine in new pastures.

Because not every move works out (for various reasons) and of course we remember the ones that may do better elsewhere as more focus is on players that are performing well.

That said, it will take a lot more than one performance to classify him as shining in new pastures.

Fair play to him. He wasn't treated properly here anyway. I do see they had a bad week for conceding goals, appears they have multiple injuries, tiredness down to a lot of travel on the road, catch up on games and confidence lost after loosing a place at Wembley. I suppose they have nothing really to play for as they are not going to get the playoffs and won't go down.

Forgot about Gorman.

Just checked soccerbase and seems he’s started five games on the trot for them now. They even won one of those games.

Always rated him; given a hard time by many on here. Will be interesting to discover where he is in a few years’ time.

Think he has now has had more game time at Newport than with the O's this season.

2-0 down at Carlisle who have been shocking this season
Picks up a yellow card for his trouble as well.
