A wise man once said it’s not what you know, it’s who you know. Do you believe there is any truth in this proclamation?

Personally I think it’s worrying that Steve Embleford is employed in any capacity at the Os. This is a business not a family cabal.
Whatever next? Kirsty Embleford, Head of lunch menus
Great Aunt Tracey Embleford - Director of Strategic Sausage Rolls
Little Timmy Embleford: Head of CBBC interactions??

Good spot. Isn't it incredible that this family seem to attract so much stick when the likes of Beelzebub spent so much of his time in this country with people fawning over him?
(for clarity: this is a serious question with an piquant undertone of knowing sarcasm)

Actually, quite a good listen and good insight. It seems to me everything about Leyton Orient Football Club, is moving in the right direction, with undoubtedly the exception being at this moment in time, the first team. Now all we need is for that to catch up and ultimately overtake all the other positive things that are going on, so over to you Ross, can you do it, well of course you can, will you do it, well that obviously remains to be seen, but let us hope so.

I haven't listened to it all yet, but it's quite interesting.
I must admit I first thought the idea of Leyton Orient football 'camps' in other countries was faintly ridiculous, but if we are making some money out of it then that can only be a good thing. I wonder how profitable it actually is.
I doubt, even if we somehow uncovered the next Lionel Messi, whether it would be possible to overcome the hurdles of employing unknown international players - which would be a shame.
