We need to play 442 i know that ross doesnt like it but we are not playing well

Ross does like it but for doesn’t think he can play it with the midfielders we have. Inexcusable really.

Given we've only got 3 senior pro CMs (Marsh being an RB now) shows where squad still needs investment. Neither Clay nor Wright are up to it in a pair alongside Cissé so bring someone in who is over summer. I quite agree....a 244 formation is needed.

Only one way to find out and that's to play them in the remaining games and see what works. RE should be trying out various combinations of players in the next 11games which should incorporate both midfielders and attackers. No use sticking to a 433 if we keep playing rubbish . My fear is if Sotiriou has to play wide to accomodate Johnson, he won't score many goals.
