Their first - the ex Salford bloke gets the run on Coulson. Didn’t we learn anything last year? He’s a real threat, you have to double up.
Their second - Wilkinson at fault at the near post, yet again. He’s clearly been told to take his line off the post after the goal the other week, which is good. But the idea is you go and attack the ball and don’t let anyone get in front of you. He can’t do that job, we need to get someone there who can.

That looked like Happe at the near post for the 2nd. Also Marsh’s man scored both of theirs and Cisse made both of ours

That's what you can do with money. Bring players in to do a job and move them on when they are no longer of use.

Happe was marking the goalscorer for the 2nd. But Wilkinson is supposed to be in front of the scorer so he can’t score.
Wilko can’t do this job. Get someone there who can.

What? Marsh is marking the bloke who scored both, there's literally video evidence, unless you're suggesting it was tampered with?

Who was at fault for Cisse winning both headers?
Their 24 first up. Then when they realised he couldn’t cope with Cisse, their 34.

As above, what is the point of Marsh marking anyone if he's not gonna challenge. He's stayed touch tight with his man both times, but they've got there ahead of him both times.

Marsh clearly marking the goalscorer for both goals. I’m assuming it’s a joke post to say he isn’t.

Just standing behind him instead of getting in a position where he can win the ball first.
He’s not a defender, that’s the problem. Judd or Turley would have won both of those challenges.

So it was only their bad marking that enabled both goals then.
It's football. There's usually someone at fault when a goal is scored. I'm not sure it's worth all the arguing.

I believe Gilso tampered with it

If you were running a defence coaching session you show all the goals as examples of how not to defend set pieces

Definitely no contenders for goal of the season amongst that lot.

Marsh's positioning for both goals was awful, he was behind his man instead of goal side hence not able to put any kind of block in.

Exactly.
Because he’s not a defender.

Some half decent crosses in, to be fair. From both teams.

Two corners from Oldham that landed at the feet of their players close to our goal. Was it bad defending or had Oldham spotted something wrong with our defending at corners and were operating a training ground tactic?

Nailed on they'd worked on it. The ex Salford bloke got the run on Coulson into a barrel load of space, exactly as he did against Marvin last season. And then they targeted Wilkinson at the near post. Just as we sensibly occupied their big blokes and got Cisse pretty much free at the back stick.
