Any other collectors on here?
Got about 1000, (and about 600cds, which don't count in the same way).
Wish I had more time to dig around charity shops, sadly I seem not to have.
Did pick up a House 12" which sells for £49.99 for 30p once, but of course, I kept it, rather than sold it on...
Binned my vinyl collection off about 5 years ago. Gave them to a mate rather than flog them off. Never played them and seemed superfluous in the Spotify age.

Something else we have in common.
About 200 ish albums and 50 odd 7”. No hot chocolate though. Only good music
Hey Mr Wumble this is not about it being Hot Chocolate but it being on a white label with no clue to who the artiste might be until you play it
Pretty good tune though

You have any rareities in your collection slacker?
There were a few early punk and obscure dance 12” worth a few bob - but nothing so rare or sought after that I felt the need to cash in. My mate gave me a case of good wines in return, but he had no intention of selling them on so not sure who got the best deal.

I've got the world's first luminous vinyl record (Kraftwerk's Trans Euro Express).
Probably be worth a bit if it wasn't in dogshit condition.
I’m afraid in near mint condition your only talking about 30 notes Al plus it has to have the right record companies code(Capitol) and released initially in the Netherlands

Never understood the 'collector' thing. My records got played to death. I'm sure if you put the needle on my copy of White Man in the Hammersmith Palais, it would play the B side.
I am on my third record collection, my first one started in about 1973. I have been buying records again for the past eight or nine years and I've got about a thousand. I am a listener as opposed to a collector and it gives me a great deal of pleasure.
I've got a juke box on which I can play old 7" singles. I've got hundreds, possibly thousands. At present the juke box is in need of repair and I'm looking for someone to do it so if anybody knows someone who might be able to help I'd be very grateful.
I've also got a 12" version of the title track of the film Phantasm in yellow blood stained vinyl. Can't be many of them still around.
