just heard Bonnie Tyler on the radio singing " I need a Hero " and thought thats what we aint got at the os a hero , a talisman, a character, someone who sparks the fans.

Someone who entertains, makes me go home with a sore throat, or just makes me laff , makes me get out of my seat , or just talk about them all the for the next week.

Been supporting the os for years and there has always been a hero or a character, Tommy Johnston, Sid Bishop, Dave Dunmore,Stan Charlton, Malcolm Musgrove, Vic Halom, Roy Massey, Malcolm Slater, Micky bullock, Mark Lazarus, Peter Allen, Terry Howard, Steve Castle, Alan Comfort, Laurie Cunningham, John Chiedozie, Terry Mancini, Stan Bowles, Lee Steele, Peter Kitchen, Terry Howard, John Jackson, Tony Grealish, Kevin Lisbie, David Mooney, Josh Koroma, Macaulay bonne

Management of Dave Sexton , Les Gore, Jimmy Bloomfield, Peter Angel, Russel Slade and Justin Edinburgh.

Sorry guys there are just so many, but you were in my immediate thoughts

Will always be an Os , but I agree with Bonnie " I need A Hero "

I see where you are coming from, but Dave Sexton, he was absolutely useless as manager here, 37 games, 7 wins, 10 draws, 20 losses, win % 18.92, on top of that, the football was garbage as well. Obviously here was his first managerial role and he had success at Chelsea, QPR & Man Utd after that. What I am saying, based on that, there is hope for Ross, everybody has to start somewhere .... or that is what I am trying to tell myself, I guess.
