I agree with that bit, but it's just the same thing said every week.

Fair play to him, he makes valid points. There’s no need to be abusive, he will talk to you and discuss things with you, how many managers would do that? I think he’s right in the mindset part, I also believe that there are parallels with that first season in the national league and the decent end to the season could set us up nicely for next season. He needs to deliver on that part. He can’t possibly blame the weather as the other sides weren’t in some kind of Bermuda Triangle and missed the bad stuff.

Not a bad interview. Every time I watch him I feel sorry for him though. Getting abuse because he's not ready, and said as much a few months back, isn't his fault.

As said in another thread, every decision he makes is made with good intentions. I just cant see us ever being successful under him.

Embleford has that BBC Test Card quality about him - he’s like a placebo for a real manager - who is programmed with a selection of cliches to repeat to the media.

The team bus will have to stop on the way home to plug Embleford in and re-charge him

A guy I know who I coached many years ago said to me in Nov time he is a top coach no doubt about it. He’s been coached by him and coached with him and I beleive what he told me, so I trust the statement ling has given on that matter.

seems his mate Ling is quite happy to chuck him under the bus, the guy is so far out of depth its becoming embarrassing, if the current set up is allowed to continue we will be in the bottom two by christmas

You mean a paying fan who went to Cheltenham, unlike you.

He pays his money and is entitled to his opinion, as is Ross.

I'm sure most of us like him and desperately want him to do well . As time goes by he's getting more and more experienced so that can only be a good thing . Hopefully we can kick on and at least make the play offs. Edit , I meant make the play offs next season .

Agreed

I quite like the fact that he calls Fans out for not gloating on social media after wins .
They seem very very quiet .
Its almost as if they need there fix for us to lose , so tbey can have some
Kind of meaning to there Saturday.

I appreciate supporters views , but I don’t always understand them. Ross is doing as well as he can under the circumstances. Since his return our form is better. We cannot keep replacing managers because they don’t win every week. We didn’t win initially under Slade. We will improve. We needed to stay up this season. We have done.
Booing Josh when he came on on Tuesday won’t help. Slagging Ross off won’t help.

He's a nice guy. Tries his best. I'm cutting him some slack until the end of the season.

It's the best I can do. If he gets to 14th its where I would have accepted at the start of the season.

I don’t particularly like him, in fact, he makes my skin crawl a little and that is not a nice thing to say about the manager of the club I support. He may be somewhat of a patsy for Ling but he is also a smiling assassin. I don’t believe in coincidence, Fletcher came and went. Webb went. The only people who haven’t gone anywhere are the Embletons with a capital s which is strange as the boss has more noughts by his results than the popular word game. Yep, underneath old mr chuckles lurks someone pretty ruthless. How else did someone who never played to a good level get to where he is at his age. Would be interested to know how he got a start at Spurs ,Bournemouth. His CV from Aged 18 to 25 or 30.

Buying a ticket doesn't entitle you to be 'very aggressive', that's different to having an opinion.

In belated answer to me old mucker Tuffers, I have to say I’m not a fan of Embleford as a manager, but as a lurve machine and all-round raconteur he’s in my top 3
