Orient didn’t manage a single shot at goal for the whole of the second half. Compared to the 16 odd Cheltenham managed.

Were either team kicking into the wind or had the wind behind them out of interest?

we had 4 shots all game. They had 20. Instead of pissing around with it at the back first half we should have been using that wind to our advantage

We were the away team so are hardly going to go all out attack in the first half.

From what you said sounds like we were playing against the wind in the second half and Cheltenham with it, which definitely has an impact. No shots on goal in the second half is poor though.

Rubbish team playing against a very strong wind for the entire second half. What do people expect?

As said in the prediction thread, they have a very tight defence. With awful conditions as well, I didnt expect we'd score today.

Broken record, as usual, but it's all about our midfield. I think we have a strikers who would score a decent amount but we have absolutely zero creativity in Cisse, Wright, Clay and Marsh. That's not what Cisse is about and he sounds like a welcome addition. But until we have some players in there who can unlock tight defences, produce something out of nothing or drive us forward, on a regular basis, we are gonna struggle for chances.

Feel for the hardy lot that travelled in those conditions for that turd fest. Deserve better.

Feel for them. Would have been all over Cheltenham away a few years ago. About 2pm, walking back from the shops in the pissing rain I couldn't be happier to be near home and not watching Orient.

I believe our players are better than what we're seeing in results . It's very disappointing.

I believe our players in the main are.just ok & rather average for this league.
Need to fully improve the squad come summer .
3 or 4 top drawer league1 players would transform this squad.

4 shots the whole game. Shocking regardless of wind or players level. It’s the tactics that re being given.

Barely got out our own half let alone have a shot on goal. The wind looked ridiculous.

Didn’t help ourselves.Continuously putting ourselves under constant pressure by presenting nearly every clearance back to them..Just didn’t get to grips.Very poor secon half showing

Don’t make lame excuses. We had less shots on target in our last two home games against bottom six sides. There is clearly a big problem here.

surely if we are trying to keep to keep the ball for long periods we must have an out=ball where there is someone to keep it until support arrives. Then we start the process again. keeping it for a bit then just hoofing is away seems to be a recipe for disaster

Pitiful attempt to defend the indefensible. On another WUM thread, you said we were aiming for 10th.

Also, your comment didn’t mention JE, so it cannot be considered a valid one.

Being at the game today my take on it is this
The wind particularly in the second half was against Orient more than it was in the first half for Cheltenham
Vigeroux could not kick the ball beyond the half way line the guy taking the long throw ins for Cheltenham was getting a lot more purchase cos of the wind and it caused severe problems
Of course Cheltenham where more urgent in the second half and got a deserved winner
Dan Happe for me was awful today
Had we kept the ball on the floor more we might of got something out the game
