Frustrating.

Was interested to see how we'd fair today against a top half team, and a point away on an awful day, would have been half decent.

I accept Ross is a rookie and will make mistakes, just like inexperienced players. But he's making the same mistakes week in week out. Had some hope that after Macclesfield he'd had learnt but obviously not.

Unfortunately he's working with a midfield (Cisse aside from the sounds of it) that is national league level.

I dont hide after a win
Or a draw or a defeat .

As was posted last weekend

"Borders who post a lot less when we win "

The WHINGEING brigade only get there juices flowing following a defeat .

Mate I hate it when we lose, I always hate losing and it doesn’t matter what it is I’m doing.

I so badly want us to rise once again, last season was I like walking ten feet in the air watching my club climb back from the depths of oblivion, all down to the owners and a certain Justin Edinburgh. Whilst I never knew him nor ever spoke to him, I could relate to him as a winner, a man driven to do the best he could, to make the best of the resources he had and come out winning. I will forever be greatful to Justin for the happiness he brought my family and I.

Embleton out!! The subs he made today say it all. Wilkinson and Angol off for wright and JMD at 1-1 and widdowson on for Dayton. He’s an idiot and not fit to
Be a football league manager

He did get pelters when he came over..At one point he said to someone “I don’t mind you talking to me,but talk to me like a man”..Now the question is,Should he have got into argument with the fans or just clapped(which he did)and walk away??

I don’t mind it. He has integrity and although he’s a rookie, he’s not blaming anyone else (like David did week in, week out) and standing up to the criticism. End of a game when passions are up maybe not that sensible.

Meet the manager next week isn’t it?

Yeah it probably is. As with my general opinion of Ross, his heart is in the right place in decisions he makes, he just usually makes the wrong ones.

He is not an Idiot & he has passed his badges
Therefore he is fit to be a football league manager/head coach.

That's his choice to play that midfield and not demand further changes. Clay is one of his personal favourites so chances of him being dropped next season are practically nil.

That was me he came over to. I just pointed out that 4 shots all game wasn't acceptable and that we should have started off going for it with the wind and not passing it around the back, side to side.
He said we didn't beat Mansfield playing it directly and I pointed out that was four days ago and irrelevant.
Didn't get a chance to ask him why when Widdowson came on he played right sided Centre back pushing Happe to left back.
You'd think he was God the amount abuse I got. Just think he is way out of his depth, doesn't adapt to the teams we play or the conditions.

What would have been the correct subs?

Take your coaching badges & apply for the job then

Or as Billy Connloy once said to a heckler

Dont tell me how to tell jokes &
I wont come to your work & tell
you how to swwep up.
