With this prejudicial process now over, the Club will pursue an impartial judgment as quickly as possible and will therefore, in the first instance, commence proceedings with the Court of Arbitration for Sport at the earliest opportunity.'

I understand that's one of the issues. The sponsor paid x amount to city but the majority of the cash came from the owner and not the company. The system may be flawed, I agree, but as I understand it City have (a) not countered the findings, apart from saying the incriminating line was out of context, and (b) have not cooperated at all with the governing body.

Once again rugby has set the lead by nailing Saracens. It will be interesting what the PL do, because they have an investigation pending too.

I'm not suggesting that cheating is acceptable. Just highlighting what the club has said is a flawed process with a predetermined outcome, surely if that's true, that cannot be right?

On another level, this is a club that owes zero pennies to anyone, all debts are paid on time and nothing is borrowed or owed to anyone. I'd say it's a well run club among others as well.
