Cheltenham Town

On Saturday Cheltenham Town will be playing in all white, this is in respect to Holly Gazzard.

Holly Gazzard was a young woman of 20 years old, who was brutely murdered by her maniac of aa ex boyfried (and I use the term boyfriend very loosly) in the centre of Gloucester a few years ago. A trust was set up in her honour to raise money and awareness for people (particularly women who are abused by their partners) - https://holliegazzard.org

As well as Cheltenham playing in a special charity kit, there will be donation buckets and several fund raising events planned. Can I ask all fellow Os fans who will be going on Saturday (I am), to be generous and give a donation to this great cause in memory of a young life snuffed out by a sadistic arshole (sorry mods for the lanuage) before her time.

If anyone hears an Orient fan with a broad Gloucester accent be gentle with me LOL, I'm not a sheep shagger or tractor driving tree hugger, just an Orient fan of 50 years.

I'm sure we are decent enough on here to be respectful

Sorry for what happened.

Wishing best of luck.

Cheers Howling, the object is purely to inform fans who may be attending on why Cheltenham are not playing in red and white and what is going on.

I know most O's fans are decent and are respectful

Also to let people know about the ap (on the link), if it saves one womans life it has to be good, spread it around.

Up the mighty O's.

No connection as such MrB, except that I'm a lifelong O's fan and we are playing Cheltenham on Saturday and they are putting on several things on Saturday, I have friends who knew Holly.

Just thought I would bring it to your attention. Help spread the word and maybe save a life (who knows).

Good wishes and the best of luck for Saturday with what sounds like a very just cause.
I’m sure O’s fans will donate generously.
