I wouldn’t be surprised if FF and FG carved out another confidence & supply coalition and keep SF out. Depends on the other minor parties and independents.

Highly unlikely as the voters gave FF a spanking but their leader Micheal Martin wants to be the Taoiseach. The voters have spoken so they may have to go into a coalition with a revolving leadership. FG are running for the hills. They don't want to even entertain a unity government.

Alot of high profile casualties. If SF had of run more candidates they would have been in a better position to firm a new government. They had more first preference votes with 42 candidates than FF who fielded double that amount 84.

A new Election will be called if no government is formed.
Sinn fein will put up more candidates & will take control of the Dàil .
The mood in the Republic is ready to accept its new party
