They would have been impressed by Sotiriou's potential.

They already know about him having seen him train for quite a while.

Sotiriou's playing style is similar to Koroma's,especially how he rolls his defender.

Shame the management team didn’t until January.

Yeah and only cos we had no left to play so had to play him. He then scores 2 in 3 and gets dropped once more! That's how much they trusted him.

For anyone trying to tell me hes young and needs a rest, I give you Michael owen. From our own ranks, chris bart Williams or paul went. Age is no barrier to talent and more recently Wayne Rooney.

Lingleton dont trust the youth.

Whilst I generally agree with you, not sure Michael Owen is the best example.

Michael Owen is the grratest example .
1st 8 year of his career .
Liverpool ( 17 -25 years of age)
118 goals in 216 games.

Age 26-34 146 games 45 goals
( real mad' man u , newcastle, stoke)

To much Football as a youngster, curtailed
Longevity & more life time goals due to Injuries .
Mostly could be related to being overplayed.

Rooney had more games as a youngest and an older and hes still doing it. Some peoples bodies can do it and some can't. For every Gareth Barry theres a Jack Whilshire it's just the way it is.

That would be the Michael Owen whose hamstrings were screwed because he played to much and had virtually retired by 30

Well exactly. Which is why you have to assess based on the individual.

Rooney was a freak and already had a mans physique at 16, that’s why he was thrown in (obviously his ability also had a part to play in that too).

Most United fans will tell you he began a slow decline from 2011 onwards though - at the age of 25/26.
