Team for Tuesday night
4-2-3-1
Vigaro
Judd Marvin Happe Brophy
Cisse(c) Marsh
Wilkinson Ruel JMD
Angol
Full backs have licence to bomb on as much as possible.
Cisse and Marsh just hold and play it simple to the front 4.
3 behind Angol charged with supporting him as much as possible.

Re: Team for Tuesday night
Worth a go. Cisse and Marsh would be my choice if we were to go 4-4-2.
Can't see it being anything but unchanged after yesterday, the only position at risk IMO is Ruel. He is much easier to drop than Wright, although Wright has deserved a spell out for a while.

Re: Team for Tuesday night
Because he’s a decent young right back with bags of potential that likes to get forward.
Who would you suggest?

Re: Team for Tuesday night
Ruel was liveliest out of the 3 so cant see that (although he was dead on his feet towards the end so could be worth protecting him from that point of view)eagwgw wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 10:41 am Worth a go. Cisse and Marsh would be my choice if we were to go 4-4-2.

Re: Team for Tuesday night
Easily the best lineup in most peoples eyes, not Lingleton’s tho so it’s 4-3-3 with players out of position and teachers pets starting.

Re: Team for Tuesday night
If Judd is fit surely he has to play ..
Likes to get forward and can put a tackle in
what's not to like, instead we continue to play
players out of position ..
Scrap a draw against a side who barely know
when they're getting paid and although beating
Stevenage handsomely Stevenages performance
that day will go down as one of the worse performance's
put out by a football league club..
Time to play the right people in the rightful positions..

Re: Team for Tuesday night
Asif Judd will play. Would be nice if we could actually play marsh in the middle, but not convinced he's creative enough.
I'd just play Angol and Ruel up front as a two. Unconvinced (albeit a 2 month old opinion) of Wilkinson on the wing.
Probably something like:
Viggy
Judd Marv Happe Brophy
Cisse Marsh Hector
JMD
Sotiriou Angol

Re: Team for Tuesday night
And Judd wont and next week long walks straight back into the team and we will hear the words it's like a new signing.
By then way redo that's a well balanced team. Not that lingleton would ever understand that concept.

Re: Team for Tuesday night
Probably the fact that he is positionally ill-disciplined, weak in the air, his crossing is highly inconsistent and he doesn’t often stay on his feet when tackling (which means he gives away too many free kicks, commits himself when we’re scrambling against a counterattack & is a walking yellow card candidate).Hedmans Header wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 11:33 am If Judd is fit surely he has to play ..

Re: Team for Tuesday night
Don’t get me wrong, he’s rash, can make the wrong call and has plenty still to learn.
It he isn’t going to learn it sitting in the stands.

Re: Team for Tuesday night
Just for the record I think Marsh is better at RB than both Ling and Judd put together .

RD but that’s not what’s being discussed however, your comment may be right. Personally I’d rather see him partner Cisse.

I can see why people would say that. But I disagree.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 2:56 pmJust for the record I think Marsh is better at RB than both Ling and Judd put together .
Certainly wouldn’t want Marsh at RB in this formation, where you need two full backs that will be adventurous and get forward. Plus he’s needed in midfield alongside Cisse.

Re: Team for Tuesday night
The reason Judd doesn't get picked because he is not very bright. He looks alright against bad opponents but has no real potential.
Re: Team for Tuesday night
I know Clay has not performed consistently well this season, but based on Saturday, I'm not sure you can drop him. His pass through pass for the goal, on its own, should give him a place.
Wright is our top scorer.

Fucks sake, it was hardly Pirlo.
It was all about the run from Brophy that made it such an easy, obvious pass.
And he actually under hit it a touch, Brophy had to readjust for it.
