This is a good idea today and this weekend. To anyone suffering with mental health issues, reach out and speak to someone don’t suffer in silence, help can be found. God bless you all.

Agreed. Such an important initiative as everyday so many people suffer in silence
Just also a quick note for Mental Health Awareness Week (Hosted by the Mental Health Foundation) which will take place from 18-24 May 2020
https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/campaig ... eness-week
Mental Health Awareness Week is the UK’s national week to raise awareness of mental health and mental health problems and inspire action to promote the message of good mental health for all.

I would hesitate to start a conversation on here as it would lead inevitably to the usual suspects hurling abuse around the place like 12 year olds, very litttle common sense is tolerated and things like humour and irony are taken as a personal afront.

You may be surprised, Mikero. Plenty of rows about politics and football on here but most people who have shared a personal problem have been treated respectfully.

Absolutely this.
Of course, start a conversation on the subject if this affects you. Just don't do it with strangers and weirdos on the internet.

I had a 40 min chat with a friend this morning over grief and what hes going through and I hope that it will give him the platform to sit down and talk it through with his wife and or seek bereavement counselling.
Helping and supporting each other can only be a good thing.

Actually, sometimes it is easier to talk to strangers.
