It was a night Tuesday kick off and Im sitting in the east stand watching the players warm up probably 30 minutes before the start , when all of a sudden Efe went down in the penalty area at North stand , waving his arms obviously in distress. It seemed an eternity before anyone noticed and eventually got stretched off before we started.
anyone remember the game ?

Yes I was there with my son, I remember saying whatโs he doing? Canโt remember who we played, but he was never the same after that.

Was out for well over a year with that injury
Was playing for Waltham Forest a few years ago
Think he also turned out for a Leyton Orient XI against Men Utd

I remember it. At the time it seemed like an age while he stood with the ball on the line - I thought someone was going to nick it off him!

Remember the goal and flip well, the first league game with the new now renamed Justin Edinburgh Stand
And I remember Efe's marvelous dribbling run to set up Adam Boyd's goal against Sarfend in August 2007.
and sadly I remember Efe breaking his leg.
COYOs let's get another victory against Macclesfield tomorrow.

Old gilso loves you showing off his commentary skills on that clip!
The other thing about Efe was his speed, my dear god he was rapid.

Erm..... That isn't me.
That was a studio voice over done by a company in Feltham at the end of the season. I was covering matches for ITV at that time but did the home games when I wasn't and thankfully did the Oxford match at the end of the season. Thanks.

He could have been some player. Pace, technique, could finish. He was coaching at grassroots level last time I heard his name come up.

Sorry Thor, yes the Southend match is me, I was referring to the OP video. Yes that was a voice over done at the end of the season as I wasn't at the match.

Gilso who is Thor talking to himself and reminds himself that he was the commentator on that game. Which he had prevoiusly denied in a self righteous fit of pique. Brillyint.
No wonder Orient gave him the old heave ho.

Leaving a few hours between Gilso's post isn't convincing anyone.
