Pretty alarming to see that this was a young lad. You’d like to think that this type of behaviour is dying out, but clearly it isn’t.

3 year ban doesn’t seem like long enough to me either.

Im sure the £55 fine will make him think twice.

Racism is a societal problem, not necessarily a football problem. The fact that he's banned from football for 3 years is pathetic. It should be a criminal case that carries real life sentences, imo.

That is irrelevant.

The age of criminal responsibility has no connection with whether someone is a child or not.

In the eyes of the law, a child is anyone under 18 years of age

You're the one bringing up that it matters. Why does it matter if they are a child?

In the eye of the law, they have personally responsibility to stay within the law.

You didn’t get a ban for missing the point I was trying to make. Not sure if you’re over 18 or not.

Racism is on the rise because recent events like Brexit, and Boris Johnson have emboldened the racists.
We have a racist Prime Minister so what else do you expect.

That is a ridiculous post and you know it. Blair stoked the game up with his immigration policy and he knew when he did it that it would wind up the masses, he's even been quoted as saying something like 'to rub the Right’s nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date’.

I do believe that it is a small minority that are racist and let's be honest they are not all white people either.

In this Country it is ( ridiculously so )

In much more forward thinking countries it is not
