Astounding that we haven’t sorted that out.
Still, we got all the important ones done like Craig Clay and Sam Ling through to June 2024, so mustn’t grumble.

That's why if we don't extend Sotiriou contract ASAP otherwise some serious questions will need to be asked .

Absolutely need to renew his deal now before he can pick where he goes for peanuts. Stick in a release fee of £500k straight up with a high sell on if needbe.

To be fair, we may already have offered him something, and he wasn’t interested in signing. Understandable when he wasn’t near the first team.

If we have offered something we might want to increase it a fair bit now.

Well that's all now changed . He's played his way into the starting lineup . For the second time of asking ,get it sorted Martin.

There are a number of players who are out of contract in the summer that should be offered new deals ie. Sotiriou ,Happe Ekpiteta and Brophy.

Brophy signed a new contract. Think Happe may have another year.

Remember people saying Ruel should go back on loan to Dover. Thank god that never happened, where would we be now. Sometimes you can put youth in the first team they dont have to go on loan. Like i said before this is Div 2 not some Super league.

Hold my hands up here and say I thought he was best off getting game time at Dover.
I couldn't see him getting on the pitch here but he's been brilliant in the last few games and looks very much at home at this level.

Linda in the office went straight home & took her office keys with her.
Contracts are in the 2nd drawer of her filing cabinet so
It won't get done before Monday at the very earliest.

To think that Alabi has been ahead of him for the last 18 months makes me want to cry.

Lingleton don’t rate him otherwise he’d have been signed up. They have only played him out of desperation of numbers and now they can’t drop him cos of his goals and performances. Although saying that they did so exactly that previously.

I absolutely said that as it was clear at that time he was recalled he was not going to get in the team. If we are not going to play him leave him on loan at Dover and let him continue his education. You can check this as that’s what I said before.
I saw him last year at welling and he was good that night. You could see he had the attributes to make it at first team level. Was he ready then? No but was he showing the coaching team something, definitely. More development was required, but he is now showing us a bit more of what he can do. Someone said he reminds them of Josh Koroma, I’d say he has a higher work rate than Josh and I do believe he will score more goals than him as well. Josh has a higher skill level although Sotiriou isn’t too bad either.

He’s not hit the injury quota in order to be offered a new contact. He’s also 10 years too young.

At a guess I would say that young players have to be managed properly and Sotiriou has only recently been ready for first team action .

Ruel was more ready at 10 than Alabi has ever been
