Ouss Cisse

No doubt in my mind our upturn in form has coincided with him coming into the side. Not only does he had a bit of bite to our midfield which we were missing massively before. But he’s actually very good on the ball, his range of passing is excellent. I can barely remember him giving the ball away and he plays forward thinking, positive balls time and time again

Fair play to Ling and the board on this one because they identified a glaring weak spot and did something about it. He’s been superb, hope he can keep it up and we can get him on a permanent if he continues this form

Shame it took them 18 months to do something about the glaring weak spot. They can take some credit for getting Cisse in but why the delay?

Embleton for once.

No the bit about the glaring weakness of our midfield for 18 months. If it was so good why were we playing the 5 at the back?

So much so that Justin was forced to change formation and play 3 in the middle and move our winger into a central position to deal with our inadequacy in that position.

Are you sure justin had to do that ?

Maybe he felt 5 at the back with 2 up front with 3 in the middle was the wway to go to ein tue league .

I'll side with him as he won the league, you just write on the message board

Well, yes. He thought that our best chance of success with the squad we had was to overload the midfield, because we didn’t have 2 players good enough to play there on their own. And he was absolutely right.

I agree and from what I've seen so far he's definitely a player we've got to try and sign on a permanent contract .

How did he overload the midfield ?

3 centre backs 2 wing backs 2 up top.

The 2 wing backs slot in when defending & overlap when going forward.
Leaving 3 in the middle.

Yep, really would. We should at least be identifying a similar type of player as a backup option. Not another powder puff midfielder.

Because conceding a minimal amount of goals means you have a better chance of winning a football match Max .

Brill had how many clean sheets ?

It was a record wasnt it .

Down to great mamagement & a very tight defence

That Justin Edinburgh was a F*cking Genius

Exactly great management and Justin was that and so much more. He made me smile and love the O’s even more. He would have taken us to the championship with the right backing of that I have no doubt, sometimes a match is made between two people that is just right and Justin found us and we found Justin. What happened next was terrible.

How long have you been watching the Orient for?
