Ross Embletons 2019/20 managerial record is now

8 wins 9 draws 10 defeats GF 36 GA 37

Not bad for a 1st time Interim/full time manager who was thrown in at
the deep end after such a tragedy .

Makes you wonder if the haters had not been so vitriolic towards him & then him
stepping down , wheteher the 1 draw & 3 defeats under fletcher
Could have been 3 wins & a draw under Ross.

We could have been sitting on 44 points right now .

Hindsight & possiblilities eh .
🤔

Results based business at end of the day. He needed a kick up the behind to stop being so negative and defensive. Not sure who delivered it (wouldn't be surprised if it was Teague) but something definitely changed fairly sharpish e.g. dropping certain players, giving Sotiriou a chance after showing no faith in him previously etc.

Spot on, Ruel has to start every match now !

Thats why Fletcher got sacked.

No wins in 5 & lets potential class go out on loan

Tuffers proper fishing here.

Firstly Fletch got the sack for telling the truth. Secondly we've just played the worst team around, let's see how we do over the next few games as they are all against teams around us before thinking we are liverpool reincarnated.

Mate I’m proper happy as is all my family.

One win doesn’t make us Liverpool nor one loss make us the worst team around. We need consistency and that’s something we’ve not demonstrated this season.

Hopefully he improves on 1.2 points a game. Don’t fancy finishing 18th in league two every year.

Too many to$$ers on here waiting for The O's to fail, so they can say they were right.
After everything that has happened since June Travis, Teague, Ling, Macklin, Embleton et Al have done a very good job.
Sure we could have been better, but I'll take a position of 10th-16th if it meant we will kick on next season

I think a podcast and radio nobody is giving me too much credit. I’ll take it though.

Don’t worry about the fact that it’s still 1.2 points per game.🤣😄

The best that gets you over the last five years in L2 is 15th. Do we all believe he is capable of building on this and going for a play off position next season?
