Look at the state of the boots on peg 20. If I’d have givens My pro their boots looking like that they would have thrown them straight back at me. Standards have dropped massively.

So Cisse was not scouted, interesting all done by video clips. So he wasn't one of the ten people per role then?

Danny on an 18 month contract is NOT building for the long term, I’d suggest it’s a short term signing.

I'm guessing it's 6 months to prove himself with a new contract offer in the summer if he does. Probably same for Angol and Wilkinson.

Perhaps they are Ross's boots on peg 20.

If you takeaway the time Ross played as a youngster, since his late teens he has been a non footballer, so no point giving him a pair of football boots now is there.

Just a guess, but they may be Ruel Sotiriou's boots as he is number 20.

Of course it’s short term. The rest of this season and next.

I absolutely guarantee neither Angol or Wilko signed 18 month contracts.

Which is what it should be but idiot face Redo had a go at me for saiyng it should be 124 days which took us up to the end of May.

By then we would know not to extend the contract.

I dont give a flying fook what he comes out with anymore. Just hoping we have one team that ends up worse than us. Seriously!

They signed for two years but I meant that they'll likely be offered a new deal this summer if the club are happy with them as with Johnson. Not ideal to go into next season with three forwards free to leave at the end of it.

And yes, it is short term - for the reason I gave about him proving himself and getting a new contract offer if he does - because there's no guarantee he stays longer than 18 months.

Don't think I'd store my football boots on a 240v plug socket but that's just me.Picky.

I also did wonder that although Ross is not a footballer doesn't he have a kick around every now and then?

Or is it illegal to possess football boots if you don't?

Club PR is load of hot air shock

10 players identified for every position... nope
Carl Fletcher ticked all the boxes... nope
4 new signings "this week" every week in January... nope
A few going out (this week)... nope

It's almost like you can't believe anything that Porter, Ling or Embleton say. More spin than Alastair Campbell...

Do we know that Cisse wasn't one of the players on this watch list that we have?

It was said they watched videos and never scouted him so I'm guessing he wasn't on the list as such.
