ON TARGET

Post by bobo66 »

I wasn't there last night, but reading the report it would appear that we cannot find the target. I think, of all the chances, only 2 were saved by their goalkeeper, the rest were all wide or over the bar. I hope they spend some time in training practising shooting and heading on target.

It's good that we created chances, which we weren't doing until recently, but we must at least make the goalkeeper make a save from some of them.

Yes, and this would include Brophy, I take it. He should also practice every day crossing with his right foot..

According to the BBC stats we had 15 shots 6 of which were on target, about 32%.

I thought we played well and deserved at least a point, if not all Three.
Couldn’t understand why Wilkinson’s header was disallowed which would’ve made it 1-1 and at that stage we were all over them without creating too many clear cut chances.
Wilko also should have scored in the first half following good work from Sotiriou.
Johnson hopefully will feature on Saturday

Last time we had that many shots on target (6), was against Grimsby (A).
