If Heineken did bloopers!!!! That was just horrendous
Lingleton don’t want him hence why they brought in viagra.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 9:28 pm I know everyone wants to see our new keeper but the desperation for Sarge to be dropped every time he kicks the ball and it lands 2 inches from our player instead of directly too them is embarrassing.
Any kid at 22 will make mistakes and be learning still. As a winger, or a fullback, you get away with it sometimes. As a keeper you have nowhere to hide. He’s had about 30 league games, he’ll keep improving with game time and coaching. As the seasons a dead duck, I don’t really get not giving him a chance/experience.
Yes I think it’s time to give him his debut on Saturday. He can’t do any worse than make one or two mistakes and concede a couple of goals which is what Sergeant is doing
Look on the bright side. At least Viagra will keep us upThor wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 9:35 pmLingleton don’t want him hence why they brought in viagra.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 9:28 pm I know everyone wants to see our new keeper but the desperation for Sarge to be dropped every time he kicks the ball and it lands 2 inches from our player instead of directly too them is embarrassing.

Let’s hope he’s the real deal and not a fake then otherwise it’s going to be a lot harder to stay upSmendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 9:44 pmLook on the bright side. This post has been verified by Rod Jane and FreddyGeorge wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 9:55 pm We played well tonight but you can see our weaknesses easier when Cisse and Ruel play. Not sure about Wilkinson. He was given enough tonight but didn’t look interested and most moves stopped at Clay with a bad pass or no control. Most of you have moaned about Wright and Clay for sometime and with Cissé next to them you can see how ineffective they really are.
As for the keeper , we need a dominant and commanding goalie who is confident with the ball.It helps the back four and we it was there for all to see when Brill came in.
He’s fine as a young back up. Still got plenty of time to learn. Reminds me of Glenn Morris (quite small, good shot-stopper, bit of a flapper), and he’s ground out a long career in League Two. Sam even has a large advantage over Morris in his distribution/kicking.George wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 8:40 pm Sorry but we can all see it every game. Just because he saves a few shots , it doesn’t make him a good keeper. Justin saw it immediately. He wasn’t good enough then and he isn’t now. He is a calamity waiting to happen. Defend him all you like but he will never make the grade
Totally agree but Sergeant's confidence is shot at the moment and Embleton would do him a favour standing him down.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 9:28 pm I know everyone wants to see our new keeper but the desperation for Sarge to be dropped every time he kicks the ball and it lands 2 inches from our player instead of directly too them is embarrassing.

Ok he made an unfortunate error that must have played on his mind throughout the game . Justin always said you should not allow a young player to experience multiple defeats that’s why he played Brill. Sam will become a very good keeper but now is the time to give him a rest
