I seem to remember in the very early days Ling saying Adeboyajo was offered a contract & him & his agent point blank refused. They wouldn't even consider going pre-season training.
He ended going to Barnsley, would rather us get Dalby back to be honest, at least he wanted to be with us

Higher division and to be selected 58 times verifies my point at least he was good enough to play that many times and contribute - better than sitting on a bench here and watching or going to a league one level down and scoring - I let you do your logic that exceeds pure division of two numbers

Bet there wasn't many starts in those appearances.
