Trackers

I presume the players wear tracking devices and therefore someone needs to ask Ross what distance the players are covering and whether it's good enough. I am sure you wont get the answer in public but watching it looks as if some players just dont cover enough ground and not putting in a proper shift.

The trackers are worn for all training and games. The data is looked at in detail and action plans built out of the back of it. The data will never be released as it’s private and falls under GDPR as well.

Have they stopped doing that 'distance covered' stat on the tv?

If there was ever a stat that made us look good, the club would be crowing about it on Twitter, a bit like James Brophy 'most successful runs' or Dean Brill 'most saves'.

I don't think we'll be topping any of these distance run chart thingys any time soon, although I don't believe there is much of a correlation between distance run and League position.
