Absolutely ,that's what I'd like to know . That record points to relegation . Funny how the board didn't see that .

The board chose Carl Fletcher! Out if 40+ applicants they chose Carl Fletcher. Then sack him after 3 weeks and then reappoint the fella who said I don’t want the job!!! You couldn’t make it up.
The DoF role is not working. Or it does work but not with Ling.
We were told that we would be impressed with the players brought in this window!!! Impressed because they don’t start???Same comment made by board when they brought in Fletcher. This lot do not have a scooby doo.

But on the brighter side Ross was more determined in the post match interview and if he changes the team tactics we may just get a result - the trouble with falling down the league is we are tracking worse than the teams below who are gaining more points - then the dynamic change and we are sucked into a position of desperation
But at least he talked about the team and not about grief and his promotion which was a phycological gain not a point gain though
Yeah I thought Ross looked well pissed off in the interview, as unhappy as I’ve seen him after our usual poor performance.
Surely he’s got to go with Two up front on Tuesday and try to be more positive.
Stevenage and Morecambe have had wins this week and we so badly need one next week.

We needed players who could come in and make an immediate impact but it didn't happen . It happened for Stevenage though with Jake Cassidy scoring on his debut .

I agree and I think Nigel said something similar but what a why to survive. Maybe we should be looking at taking one or two of the macclesfield players .

We do the opposite. Ruel scores twice yet we drop him and play Angol in an inappropriate position.

I am concerned that Ross EMBLEFORD - the latest iteration of our manager - is being unfairly tagged to statistics attributable to Embleton

I remember after Ling was given the manager role permanently we only won once in 17, from feb 04 to 3rd match of new season. Look how that turned out.

Dire !
I’m just amazed that we get ourselves back in Football League and put a total management novice in CHARGE of our club. A man who never dreamt of being a manager and didn’t want the job.
It takes some believing and fans have a right to be very angry with these ridiculous decisions that have zero logic to them

We all know we have gone from a team that was defensively sound with the same players to leaking goals like it's going out of fashion. One possible reason is what's being asked of them from the coaching team.
Stint 1 we conceded 50% more goals than we score
Stint 2 we conceded 8% more goals than we score
Stint 3 we conceded 40% more goals than we score
Stint 4 we conceded 34% more goals than we score
Overall we concede 25% more goals than we score
Midfield wins games as they are the conduit for your attackers to score from and your shield to your back line and as many have suggested it's where we've lost most battles all season long. The defence is under so much pressure because of it, it's only a matter of time before its breaches. People have said well Sarge made a mistake for the 1st goal last night (not seen it myself yet) but any mistake he makes can be amplified cos it could end up in the net. Yet a forward makes maybe 5 errors a game, same for midfield, same for defence. Everyone has someone there to back them up and sort it out except Sarge who is on his own when it happens to him.
