A nice bit of fishing maxi boy.
We've good owners who have been excellent so far in my opinion. The club has been transformed in so many areas, Danny Macklin has been impressive in his role, Ling has done well overall however, he has made some bad calls this past few months.
What we need now from both Nigel and Kent plus the other members of the board is true leadership. Let's see the direction being laid down, motivate the staff the fans and lead the way as the spearhead of our club. Show us you care, show us this is just part of the exceptional set of curcumstances we find ourselves in. People may still be grieving shown them the light, provide them the support or further support as required.
Finally be brave, make the tough decisions like you undoubtedly have done through your lives which has put you in the positions you have achieved. Followers will also follow, but leaders will always lead.
Be those leaders now.

"Ling has done well overall"
OK, he recruited Justin - a move which increasingly looks more like luck than judgement, and he pulled together a team from scraps after the Italians left.
Have I missed anything?

Yeah those scraps he pulled together won the league. He has brought in decent players.
Dennis, Wilko, Angol, Marsh, JMD, Turley. I might have missed some, but they are an improvement on who left. We’ve a successful youth section another good quality player has been signed by Chelsea after half the top clubs wanting him so we must be doing something right. Remember you can’t stop a boy leaving if a tier 1 club comes calling those are the rules like it or not.
He has messed up the manager roles and I’ve said that previously so I’m not about to backtrack now. But when you weigh it all up overall he has done well. It’s just this one point that seems to be his blind spot.

I’m with you on the basic points Thor.
To have got us back into the EFL within two years of taking over in my opinion was a major achievement.
Following the tragedy of the summer it seems like the plot has been lost somewhat, and after yesterday’s results the basement position is a lot closer than it was. So we have to stop sleepwalking towards it, and as you say we need some leadership. Right now it appears they are hoping on a wing and a prayer that it’ll work out, but the signs are that it won’t.
If we survive this season, but not impressively, e.g. bottom six, then they are going to have to face some big decisions in the summer or the survival may just be a temporary reprieve.

I get the feeling the owners don’t apply the same level of decision making and leadership in their own businesses as with Leyton Orient.
They are shying away from the tough decisions and that’s why we are in such a mess
Ling, a succession of bad calls, cringing q&a session. One of his prime functions is to ensure we have the right manager. He’s ballsed that one up twice in a few months.
RE, he’s not a manager.
Stop giving out contracts to crocked players and players past their sell by date.
T&T , get a grip and sort it out. Stop trying to please everyone and pleasing no one.

Not really sure how much is the owners fault?
They were never going to be hands-on people, not even living in the UK. They aren't football specialists, so why get involved?
That's why they employ others who do have football knowledge to do the work for them.
If the DoF presents a decision that he says is the best for the football club, why should they disagree with him? If they start doing that, then there is little point of him being here.
It does seem to me a real possibility that Embleton (in his permanent role) could last even shorter than Fletcher did. If we lose the next 3 games I think the situation will be that we have to have a change, if Ling still backs Embleton then he will have to be part of that change as well.

Like i said before its the recruitment progess we have let ourself down when it come's to staff and player's, fletcher, and also before that, when justin sadley passed away ot was a sad lose, and there was a time we meeded to get over the lose, but after that we should have gone out and sign a new manager, as ross didnt want the job, but no one cares about the fans i have had enough

We tragically lost our manager ,there is no to go to manual for the answers. Understandably mistakes were made. In my opinion, the board will end up bringing in an experienced manager or we’ll end up being relegated

I totally agree with your first point about football knowledge. However, their fault lies in continuing to employ Ling, despite overwhelming evidence that his footballing decisions are consistently flawed - the Ebou Adams fiasco, Steve Davis, repeated failure to sign the CM we desperately need and the contract extensions given to aged NL players etc.
The Carl Fletcher fiasco should have been the wake up call for the owners.
Appointing Ross is another in the long line of poor decisions our DOF has made and I do wonder what it is going to take (NL relegation?) before T&T wake up and smell the coffee - Americano no doubt.
