Let’s just put everyone in the hat and see who we draw out. can’t be any worse than Ling picking the team and telling Ross where to play them.

Cisse in for Hector.
Widdowson in for Brophy.

No point, youd still complain before.during & after tuesday.
Regardless of a win draw or defeat

Go for broke 4-4-2 with Cissé in midfield. Try get a goal then second half if we can hold the lead bring on a CM for Harrold, pack midfield and hit on the counter with Angol coming on got Wilkinson later on.

This assumes Widdowson again doesn't recover in time, Embleton's interview suggested he won't be available but we can only hope there's a pleasant surprise there.

Sargeant (GK)

Judd (RB)
Coulson (CB)
Ekpiteta (CB)
Happe (LB)

JMD (RW)
Wright (CM)
Cissé (CM)
Brophy (LW)

Harrold (ST)
Wilkinson (ST)

Subs: Vigoroux, Marsh, Clay, Angol, Dayton, Sotiriou, Kyprianou

Seeing as I played right wing I’m sure if I was 30 years younger I’d slot into left back without a problem!

Can't have that xl especially with Judd & Wright in. Judd maybe whole hearted but he's a liability who can't be trusted. We need a decent RB.

Sarge

Marsh
Widdowson
Ekpiteta
Happe

Maguire-Drew
Clay
Cisse
Brophy

Angol
Wilko

Right wing ?

We havent llayed 2-3-5 formation for years.
Those positions are from the 50s .

Fair point on Judd v Marsh, would happily swap those. Would be great to see Widdowson return but just can't see it happening.

No no no...

FIFA for testing matchday tactics
Football Manager for transfers

Get the right tool for the job

Perhaps Embleton and Ling should try it, can't be any worse than their attempts thus far eh...

I'd go with Thor's hammer myself but whether you'd prefer a different one is up for debate 😆
