I dont normally want any club to go under but in order to protect our L2 status I wouldn't mind if the Maccs went.

Heartless and selfish I know but it's dog eat dog out there and with all the innovative ways LOFC has found to prevent us amassing points this season it's good that MTFC are broke.

The only issue I have is how long this petition has been before the courts and repeatedly adjourned. Macclesfield will end up completing another season before any effective hearing takes place

It may be dodgy but I don't think we will go down.

Max is living in the real world and I agree with him.

I 100 % hope they both survive and retain their League Two status.

Hopefully Stevenage wil be relegated.

It’s going to be a real crunch game when we play them away in a few weeks time . That game is definitely a 6 pointer

Considering we haven't beat anyone who resides below us right now, its gonna a tough one that's for sure.

Mike Minay (BBC Manchester); "It is understood that three Macclesfield Town players have gone to the EFL today to seek permission to terminate their contracts".

The Three players have won their appeal and had their contracts terminated, Macclesfield also look set to sell their two best players before Fridays deadline.

You would suspect the Three players who have left all have clubs to go to and it's not beyond the realms of possibility that others will have their agents trying to find them clubs before Fridays deadline.

Despite their problems Macclesfield have been playing quite well. Maybe we should steam in there and get one or two of their players .

I hope we are in for Paddy Osadebe, would be a good addition.
Unless something remarkable happens like clubs nearby loaning them players I can't see them finishing above us.

Sol Campbell was only in charge for 9 months, yet is owed Β£180,000! Must have been a fat bonus to avoid relegation.

I think their players are due to be paid on Friday, they have managed to pay the players for the last two months but many are owed money from before Christmas. Owner says he's accepted three bids for the club "In principal" but refuses to show potential buyers the books.

Any Orient fan thinking Macclesfield going bust is going to save us this season from the drop, is in my opinion, being way too optimistic.
Bury may have saved us, but that's it. We need to win a few games to save ourselves.

Noticed that Macclesfield picked up a couple of players on loan about 10 days ago. I guess if they can get the lending club to continue to pay their wages in return for giving them some game time that might work. But you can't blame players for wanting to leave if they can't be certain of getting paid at the end of every month.

Don't want them to go bust. It's our responsibility to get ourselves out of this mess,Stanley.

Even if Macclesfield went bust, what about our professional pride. Whatever happens we’ve got to start winning a few.
