New manager bounce !

Watford seem to have a knack in recent years of appointing managers who hit the ground running. Yet another good result today as they win 3-0 away to Bournemouth. This win means Watford have now collected 13 points from six Premier League matches since Nigel Pearson's appointment last month.

Watford were rock bottom and couldn't win a raffle until Nigel Pearson was appointed. Two foreign managers sacked and look what an English manager has done? There are some teams near the bottom looking over their shoulders now.

Including Bournemouth. They have one heck of a decision to make about Howe.

I feel they will stay loyal to Howe. He has done wonders. I remember when Charlton ditched Curbishley.

They are having a shocking run, they were near the top at the start of the season. They have had injury problems but they just seem to be in freefall.

Charlton ditched Curbs before their big decline. Howe is leading Bournemouth into theirs.

Did Bournemouth's decline begin when Carl Fletcher left them for us, the two are very close together?

The ball bounced straight through the middle of our defence and then over the line after their player lobbed Sam Sargeant, what more do you want?

To me Angol looks a fish out of water being played as a target man, more like someone who is more like an old fashioned inside forward, better used playing off a target man, as is Wilko. Brophy, best position is left winger or left flank midfield in a 4-4-2 formation. Left back....no.

All his skillful close control and trickery is totally wasted because of the way the team is set up.

Charlton did not ditch Alan Curbishley actually. He turned down the offer of a new contract and left the club at the end of the 2005/06 season

Yes, so plain to see isnt it ! Should be played behind a target man. also more suited to a passing on the ground type of game, let him move around drop back off his markers etc to play one two's etc. Years ago he would have played as a ball playing ''schemer'' type of inside forward.
A total waste of his skills playing him as we do and these guys on the bench and all their coaching badges, what are they given for, putting out the cones ? I saw a short video on the orient twitter of 3 lines of players being made to run up and down between the cones as they did exercises, we need more ideas than doing that.

New manager bounce and Ross Embleton are words that don't usually occur in the same sentence

More like the club are trying to bounce us in to believing he is the right appointment.
