Well I think the appointment of Ross has more to do with only covering Ling's backside after the Carl Fletcher debacle . I hope Ross is a success but I'm feeling concerned he won't be .

It's a football thing. Its normally, boss, gaffer or such like. It always has been and I guess it always will be.
Beckham and his mates of 92 still refer to fergie as "the boss" even now.
