Lawrence Vigouroux. The missing interview tapes unearthed
LO Media Man: Welcome to Leyton Orient Lawrence, I'd like to interview you for the website, please take a seat
[scraping sound]
LOMM: Not the gold one, that's Martin's.
LOMM: Now, can you tell us a little about your recent playing history.
LV: Sure, I've been playing for Perro Y Pato and El León Rojo in Santiago, they're quite small teams who mainly play on a Sunday.
LOMM: OK, maybe we'll gloss over that. We want to make Ross look important in the piece, can you tell me how you first met him?
LV: Yes, 9 years ago, he took me to Tottenham. I needed to buy a present for my mum, and he was the only one with a driving licence, so we went to the market there.
LOMM: Hmmm, OK
[Sounds of crashing as man runs into broom cupboard]
LV: What was that?
LOMM: Don't worry about Myles, he works here, we get him to look for Louis Dennis's shooting boots before his mum picks him up at 4
MJ: I've found them!
LOMM: Those are wellies, Myles. So look Lawrence, can you say something nice about Ross as we have a big announcement coming up.
LV: Of course, I love Ross, I speak to him most days
LOMM: Good, Good
LV: He's really helped out my career, and the prospect of working with him is massive
LOMM: Excellent, anything else?
LV: I can tell you, he's 100% a factor in me coming here
LOMM: Lovely
LV: Yes, and he's promised me I can play wherever I like. I wanted to play midfield, but he says that's fine, so I'm going up top.
LOMM: Er, really? Are you sure about this?
LV: That's what he told me. He is the Jurgen Klopp of East London, he's a man's man, he's the dog's potatoes.
LOMM: I'm not sure that's a thing, do you need a lie down?
LV: Wouldn't mind actually - did a few too many shots with Broph's last night

Re: Lawrence Vigouroux. The missing interview tapes unearthed
A 12 month rolling contract under normal circumstances just gets automatically renewed on the 30/6. This is what is confusing me as all contracts in football run to the 30/6. So if he has a 12 month rolling contact his will auto renew on the date he signed it, so what's that the 7 jan? Don't make sense to me, why wasn't it an intial 18 month rolling contract, which gets superseded by a 12 month rolling contract.
Seems strange to me.

Theres nothing to worry about a 1 year rolling contract either. Robson was on one at Newcastle and he lasted a few years.
Players will come becuase of the club, it might be easier to attract certain players with a more high profile player. However, as long as the cash is there for the wages demanded, the ambition is demonstrated by the owners then we have ourselves a new player.
