Interesting stat from this season, Leyton Orient average crowd this year is 5445. This is a higher average than 19 clubs in league 2 and 10 teams in league 1. Just goes to show the potential the club has.

17 % up from last season.

And, we have only ONCE had a better average over the last 20 years (13/14; 5468).

Go fans, go.
It just goes to show what success can bring.

I think it is to do with the way the club is run. Although when Barry Hearn owned the club he was quite popular and even seen as a sort of Saviour, some saw him as a bit dodgy and was suspscious of him

I don’t.

Bazza is a right **** but I didn’t stop going to games because of it.

I only bailed out for Bechettis final season.

Only just behind 13/14 and we benefitted from bigger away crowds that season. There’s definitely something going on in the area.

2012/13 was rather low. What was that all about?

I suspect if you took out away fans from those figures, then this season would have exceeded 2013/14

Does the figure include all the ghost season ticket holders?
No point in bigging this up if it includes several £9 kids who never turn up.

As far as I'm aware, the average is based on the attendances on the day not season tickets.

I was surprised it was as high as 304 - had some really poor turnouts, even double digits on occasion.
