I wouldn’t be surprised to see Jobi get the gig. Whether the Board want RE to do the job or not, how on earth can he be offered it or accept with the current level of performance/results.

From somebody with barely any managerial experience to somebody with none whatsoever. Brilliant.

That's a bit of a cruel comment to be honest . I agree we need a new experienced manager but Ross is a top bloke .

Well, I gave patiently read everything on this Board and would only add my vote to the appointment of a fresh approach from outside of the current structure and with an ego big enough to defy the DoF and get some points in the bag.
As our American benefactors would say, “Leave some skin on the pitch!”

If the Board are going to appoint from within, I would rather see Jobi get the gig. Yeah, he has no experience but will at least have the respect of the players and would be able to attract a decent player or two Imo. Jobi has appeared to adopt a “back seat” role in everything that has gone on in the last few months and is, therefore better placed than anyone else imo to bring some change for the better to the way we have played of late. I just don’t see the point in RE being appointed.

Like I said , I'm not disputing we need a new experienced manager because we clearly do but full respect for Ross for trying his best .

Yes , that would be bizarre but at the same time wouldn't surprise me with Orient .

Not as bizarre as making RE’s current position permanent imo !

How does this reconcile with Ling also being DOF when Justin Edinburgh was appointed?

Ling got lucky, 1 great Manager, 2 disasters and another disaster in waiting if it’s Embleton or anyone else that is not an experienced, proven Manager at League 2 level and above to get our club to progress.

So when he gets it right it's just luck and when he gets it wrong it's because he's hopeless? Yes? Why, exactly, do you hate Martin Ling so much? I think we deserve to be told the truth.

Justin Edinburgh, May 2019; “You can't underestimate the job Martin Ling does. He is crucial for me. He is a great buffer and has great knowledge. He has brought some excellent players”.
For the time being I still trust his judgement.

Decent managerial appointment and new players , coupled with improved results and all will be forgiven and forgotten. It's all down to the owners and what they want .
