As I alluded to in another thread Dave Victor said today on Radio London that Ling and everyone else wants Ross to get the job. I’ve found it on the BBC website start listening at 25 mins.

Still we need to keep a watchful eye out for the lions coming to eat us! Wasn't it sharks before?

I'm sure agents are working overtime to try and find new clubs for their players, some will be successful and some will not, especially with some of the older players.

I don't buy into this cheapest option angle. I personally think the board like the current setup, believe it can be successful, and want to stick with it. IMHO they're wrong. They're trying to apply a business continuity principle to a sports club and I don't think it will work.

The club cannot move on from Justin’s passing and it shows in this interview. The decision to give Ross the interim managers job at the time was the right thing to do. Unfortunately Ross believed he was not the answer and said so. After CF sacking the board had to go back to Ross to fill in a toxic situation. I believe Ross still does not want the job but the board does not want to accept it. It’s their job now to accept their responsibility and deal with it now . Our recent results and the way we are playing means we could could be in a relegation scrap that we cannot allow to happen. From the interview Martin the Lion is getting closer now the time is to deal with it

Just listened to this. We all know what a shock Justin's death was but we should be leaving the grieving to his family by now. I think maybe Martin's own issues are making him dwell longer than is healthy, for him and the club, on Justin's passing.
The whole idea of wanting to keep it "in house" has gone way past any reasonable time period. Martin said himself that it was the perfect time to move on when deciding to hire Carl Fletcher so why even consider reverting back to the "in house scenario" now?
We must move on, Ross doesn't want the job, so let's get someone in who can do the job and support him. He'll need to make changes for sure and if heads need to roll then so be it - but he needs to be allowed to do as he feels fit without interference.

No manager should have a get out of jail free card. Embleton, in his role as heroic stand-in doing a job he presumably hates - has at least one of these cards to hand.
But, if he really doesn’t want the job, he should do the decent thing and not pass Go or collect £200
