Ross & Martin Lings shopping list

Be Interesting to see who they will bring in during the transfer window.

Its obvious last years Squad isnt good enough & to be fair Justin might
not have got anymore out of them, its possible but not definite.

So RE needs to build His Team .

A mixture of youth from our own ranks & more experienced players would probably
be the prefered route
Clay needs help or replacing as on his own he is a Liability
If Gorman Brophy JMD are all so similar we should lose one to strengthen elsewhere

They wont do anything with conference level players Sid .

We need better players.

Not coaches trying to make silk purses out of pigs ears.

Given he mentioned possible outs if we're working on pragmatic choices...

Out: Alabi, Gorman, Ekpiteta (if sold before end of contract)
In: GK, CM (x2), ST, LW, CB (if Ekpiteta goes)

In reality we'll be lucky to see GK, CM, ST coming in I reckon

Unless things get very bad I think it'll be restricted to loans. Or deals until the end of season. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, there may be good players out there.

It should be the case that if there are permanent transfers it should be that they will be important parts of the squad for 20/21 season, that might be difficult when we don't know who the manager for that season will be....it looks less and less likely it'll be Ross.

The movements out is more interesting as that would give us more wage room to play with....realistically I can't see much movement. We might be able to budge Alabi out on loan as he has no chance of a deal.... But that's it. Marv I think will stay but leave on a free at the end of the season.

The players that many think are not good enough for L2 are mostly contracted beyond this year, or will be their last club at this level. There is no reason for them to leave.

They the players need better leadership and direction from a proper manager, not a coach. A few upgrades wouldn’t go amiss either.

You are judging Ross'1st season as a head coach against normal coaches in normal situations Thor.

Not by the standard of a club moving forward , who were devastated by the death of a friend colleague boss
Employee & Hero to anyone connected to Leyton Orient.

Get off his back get off Lings back for the exact same reaons , avoid relegation this season by any means possible & then move forward.

The Hatred spouted by some towards Ling snr Ling jnr & Ross is beyond the pale.

Do you have a clue as to how anyone within this club is dealing with & coming to terms with mays events , while still trying to run His Team ?

I reckon Alabi and Gorman are definite goners . I have high hopes for Ruel Sotiriou so probably just a new keeper and a central midfielder to come in . Please God the central midfielder is the type we've been crying out for and not just some makeweight on loan.

Ross talks about getting a goalkeeper in and one or two others. This team needs more than that. Some of them who have been given contracts more than this season appear not to be up to L2 standard. This is a worry as getting of the payroll will be difficult. Also too many injury prone players Dayton Widdowson Ling Jobi who cannot sustain the full season. Lots of problems that Ross cannot deal with. Needs a complete restructure and soon

Gorman will leave if he isn't getting game time in a midfield that lacks well almost everything.

Widdowson was pretty much ever present last season wasn't he? Seems a victim of the poor fitness conditioning this season more than a fault of the player. Dayton, Ling and Judd all injury prone and Wilkinson proving to be a bit of a sicknote too.

They should go out and buy a big bowl of lemons which they would place in the dressing rooms and utilise them to suck up all the negativity abound in there.

That's the job of our management and scouting team mate. They need to find someone who can do that role.

I'd take Robbie Weir back

Elliott Osbourne at Stockport is earning really good reviews, midfielder decent amount of goals and assists and at 23 is a good age with plenty of sell on potential.

It's for others to scout and decide if hes what we need or require.

Dagenhams Elliott Justham as the goalkeeper wouldn't be a surprise.
