:((

Time to back Ross with the players he needs. That was utterly dire.

Edited as now feel a bit sorry for Ross.

Dire would have been an improvement

Time should've been up first time around. Not doubting his abilities to coach but as a manager, no way.

Totally agree and I think Ling interfering was outrageous, time for him to go too !

Was hoping we'd have a candidate primed to take over after the Xmas period. Seems unlikely now.

Definitely need a credible head coach in before our next league game.

Pushing and pushing for Embleton to do the role. First time around practically forcing him into it and second time round spinning 180 on his previous interviews and pushing for RE to take the job permanently having previously said he doesn't have what it takes to be #1

DoF role keeps coming up in this saga and never in a good way. Time for another defensive, expletive filled Q&A session perhaps?

Encouraging Embleton to spend a second time in charge whilst not actively looking for a new proven, experienced Manager at League 2 level and above.

Not sure that's interfering tbh. He does need to take urgent action now though.

Time for T&T to grow a pair - Ling has to go NOW. We need proper footballing people in our club, not mugs.

I just hope Ling knows what players we need so the window isn't wasted

Seems hugely unlikeky. We haven’t even been looking and if and when we have a candidate they have to go to Boston for a holiday first , so don’t hold your breath . Instead of actively seeking like Grimsby did with holloway were sitting back hoping Ross will somehow become a proper manager or get lucky ! Was never going to happen when he’s never ever wanted to be a manager !
No use waiting for people to contact us we should know exactly who we want who fits the criteria and then go and get them . Only chancers will apply or in experienced or those who are poor

Until we get out of this mindset regarding the coaches and players being retained out of respect to JE we will never get a good manager. Tisdale is still out there. f*** this. L8ng has to go, Embleton too if it means a decent manager brings his own number two.

Agree 100%. The real issue Is that there is no apparent proactive attempt being made to attract a potential replacement. If the right man isn’t available then fair enough but we do at least need to be seen to be making an effort!

This ''L8ng has to go, Embleton too if it means a decent manager brings his own number two.''
Nice thought and the only way to move on..............but cannot see T@T being ruthless enough to do what needs doing if we are to move onto better things.

That's what normal clubs do . That's what Grimsby did. If I that's true we haven't been looking for an experienced manager than sorry ,that's just being incompetent.

Do we know for sure that there is no proactive attempts to attract a potential replacement though? We have an interim head coach at the moment so I doubt we are not at least doing due diligence on possible candidates

I think we do have to be a bit more ruthless. I'm all for remembering the great man that was Justin Edinburgh, but at some stage we have to move on or we are going to be trapped in this endless interim phase.
