Don’t think there’s any so called about it, I’m sure they were orient fans.

It was a genuine question.
What’s wrong with singing and a bit of bad language after you’ve won away?
I’d argue that it’s less of an offence than calling people “tools” behind their backs on the internet.

He’s right, there’s no need for swearing in a public place.

Absolutely unnecessary, and offensive, and it reflects badly on the club.

Don’t see any real problem with swearing in general — depends on your sensibilities I suppose — but swearing around younger kids isn’t really alright, is it?
Not sure how singing after am away win is offensive though.

Big Ron. Hypocrisy is never a good trait. Many people were offended by your description of the Leyton Orient Women’s Team on this very Board. (If it was not you, I apologise for this slur.)

I suppose you’re right. It’s not like literally every single other football club in the country has fans who sing and swear.....oh wait.

Leyton Orient is a football club, not a convent ……………………… However, I've worked in a convent school and I can assure you that the girls eff and blind as much as any football supporter

That’s ok then, that makes anti social, loutIsh behaviour perfectly acceptable.

Considering I wasn’t there I have no idea if the behaviour was anti-social or loutish.
Singing and swearing, as per the OPs description, is hardly crime of the century.
I do wonder if the OP, or anybody else, asked them to keep it down? Their reaction to this request, if it was made, is what they should be judged on.

Not there either.
No issue with the singing.
But if they were repeatedly swearing in a public place - not the ground, where you know to expect it, but on a train - then that is anti social behaviour.

Agreed. But considering the situation (away win, and boozy weekend before Christmas) it’s understandable that some lads get carried away.
that’s why I asked if anyone asked them to go easy. Their reaction to this request is how they should be judged.
It’s one thing to ask the lads to keep it down and they continue. This does make them anti-social idiots.
It’s another thing not to say anything at the time then come on the Internet later and call them “tools”. They may have been perfectly reasonable if you spoke to them.

Unfortunately these days even asking people politely to do something can result in a punch in the mouth or even worse , I'm 67 now and too old to get involved in shenanigans like that , and yes maybe I was a bit harsh calling them tool's and for that I apologise.

Well said Ron. Sing but swearing is unnecessary
