He must have touched a nerve. Arsenal's response to this pretty disgusting too but I guess money talks. Is staying silent on these issues the price for Chinese investment?

Reading about their camps reminds me of the film Silence, which was great.

Good on the lad. He called out the racism in Germany too.

Shame he then started hanging around with Erdogan.

It’s yet another thorny sectarian issue out in Xinjiang. Separatists, terrorist incidents, mass Han Chinese migration into the region, violent crackdowns and, er, “vocational re-education camps” for the Uighur muslims out there. You can see parallels with conflict areas much closer to home...

Not sure how he can comment really. Is he not aware of the Turks suppression of the Kurds. He is a poor player in a poor team and he would be better off concentrating on his own form

Irrelevant.

What the Chinese are doing is chilling and if you mention it like Ozil has they go Off. Their statements remind me of something North Korea would put out.

If Ozil is moaned at by any Gunners fans he would reply by saying "what do you know about football?"
The perfect comeback would be "more than you know about politics".

He should not (plus millions of other people too) go anywhere near unsociable media!

It's disgraceful what Arsenal have said. It's not a political thing, it's moral. As has been said, Chinese investment means that nobody wishes to upset them - money is power.
