The Election Results Thread (OFFicial)

Just over 70 minutes of polling remain before we get the exit polls.

Will Boris romp home with a majority, vinducating Cummings' strategy for focusing almost solely on Brexit?

Will we have another hung parliament, with the SNP and Lib Dems possibly playing kingmaker?

Or will Labour pull of the biggest shock victory ever, demonstrating that the nation ranks domestic policies higher than Brexit and the smeers?

Or will Jo Swinson surprise us even further and end up as Prime Minis...... Nah, I'm taking this too far now.

:off

Regardless of the overall result, there's definitely the possibility of one or two Portillo moments through the night.

My Ladbrokes app is paying out peanuts for a Tory majority right now, so I’d be inclined to believe that.

Having said that, it did give me incredibly generous odds on a Man United win last weekend, paying me £70 profit on a £10 punt so maybe I should not trust the bookies so much.

Labour activists were out in force in Chingford today to GOTV. But I have a sneaking suspicion IDS will hold on.

Shall we have some predictions?

CON: 336
LAB: 227
LD: 21
SNP: 43
PC: 4
GRN: 1
DUP: 9
SF: 7
SDLP: 2

Labour vote holds up well in the South but they get chinned in the North and Midlands with the BXP taking votes off them, allowing the Tories a small majority. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Reading some dispiriting views from Labour activists in a few Northern constituencies. But on the flip side the same is being reported by the Tories in the South East. Boris is expected to hold Uxbridge though.

Sorry mate. ;)

Not sure if you can view their posts unless you're friends with them. And I'm also not sure they'd appreciate me linking to their profiles on here.

Here we go.... 5 minutes away.

This is almost as exciting as that time Gareth Gates and Will Young went head to head on Pop Idol.
