So, Sunday afternoon I was sat at home when knock at the door from an Election Cancasser from one of the main parties.
He asked me what were main issues for me affecting my vote.
We then a lengthy discussion regarding these issues where he set out quite clearly his party's relevant policies and the thinking behind them. I challenged him on a number of issues and after about 15 -20 mins he asked if he could count on my vote.
He seemed quite taken aback when I said no.
He asked why, I said "I have already submitted my postal vote"
Shame he never bothered to ascertain if I had voted Still I suppose it was15-20mins less dir my neighbour's to deal with Canvassers

I was quite happy to carry on the conversation/ debate. No time wasted on my behalf.
15-20 minutes of political debate was far more enjoyable thna watching another episode of The Love Boat or Hart to Hart on some obscure TV channel.
If...

An old School Friend of mine is campaigning for
Faiza Shaheen in Chingford & Woodford Green.
She Received a phone call late last night from a man
Claiming to be on behalf of I.D.S .
He went on about Brexit nurses , the police,
He then ranted on about.corbyn allowing isis
to live in England, banging on about corbyn and
Antisemetism , & the bnp.
This really doesnt sound like a free & democratic
Country.
It sounds like Putins Russia , or Mugabe's Zimbabwe.
Knocking on doors is legal as part of the voting process.
Trying to intimidate people is not.
Shocking stuff.

She called the police & passed on a mobile number.
If its a burner then probably wont lead to anything.
If there had been more of a stink kicked up when Jo Cox was murdered the Brexit vote
Would have been put back & possibly not even been seen through to its conclusion.
How.did we miss that opportunity to bring some Sanity into politics ?

Latest ComRes Poll (yes am of course aware that polls are poo poo)
Tory - 41 (-)
Lab. - 36 (+3)
If correct were into tiny Tory majority / hung parliament territory

So a waste of an Election
Should of just gone straight to a 2nd referendum
We 3 choices
1st & 2nd option
Out of
No deal
Leave with a deal
Remain.
Most votes in part 1 would knock out the 3rd option.
Then combine 2nd choices with the last 2
Job done no need for any further discussion.
" ah but we had a referendum already."
Yes but Farages leave is different to mays & is different to boris' & is different to corbs & different to etc etc
Then there is remain.
Or, we could all do what Dave did & just F*ck off
Into the sunset !

Boris couldn’t be seen to do that, could he.
Just hoping, nay praying, that the youth vote is enough to get Jezza and Sturgie over the line.

I voted Labour. Corbyn needs to leave the stage immediately: what is the point of carrying on now? Swinson did the honourable thing. The preparation for the next election starts now. Labour also need to appeal to the more aspirational. People tend to vote for selfish rather than philanthropic reasons.
