Russia Banned for 4 Years

Russia have been banned for 4 years across all global events to include the Olympics and the World Cup. They have 21 days to appeal.

Saw the headline and thought they must have really pissed Prestige Worldwide off before I realized it was about sport.
Ironically not banned from Euro 2020 as apparently UEFA tournaments are not major sporting events

Correct hence the word global. UEFA is a European body FIFA the world body.

Also they can still play in world cup, just cannot fly their flag. Ridiculous.
