Short odds, at the weekend had Liverpool to beat Brighton, sweated a bit on that when the goalkeeper Alisson got sent off in the 76th minute, still they managed to scrape in 2-1 winners. Celtic and Rangers easy on the Sunday. Tonight Leicester 0-0 at halftime versus Watford, I thought Oh Oh, then Vardy made it 1-0 after the break, then Maddison made it 2-0 in extra time ! Oh well, I shall take back my stake, reinvest my winnings and see how I get on next time !

Yes I won. It was a four team win accumulator and all of the four teams I bet on won.

Love it when people post that they've won after the results

Yeah he said he’s gonna take back his winnings so he’s level there from a cash perspective and he’s gonna have another go with the bookies money on what he won, which is free money.

I rarely to ever bet on anything and if I do, its only small ones. Have not bet on the National for years had a flutter in the world cup but lost out, so thought I would have a go for the last three weeks but never managed to get down the bookies. I backed a fiver for the the Os to win the League and the cup and we lost to Fylde in the final !

That is how it goes if you pick near certain winners. Tonight I got odds of Leicester 3 to 1 against to beat Watford and Leicester were still only 1-0 up before scoring in the 5th minute of extra time to make it safe at 2-0.
My mum and dad were great fans of betting on the Horses ( about the only thing they had in common ! ) my dad often lost, my mum mostly won. In fact she was banned in around 1967 from a well known betting company because she won too much ! They sent her a letter saying something on the lines of that her account was no longer profitable ! She purchased a Morris Mini Cooper that year out of some of her winnings, I recall it cost her around £700, true story !

You are correct, Leicester were the best odds.

My mum used to pick 40/1 winners on the horse racing, that is why she was not popular with the bookies !
Years ago when I was a kid, there were no bookmaker shops, Mum used to slip bets to a guy in the paper shop, all secret sort of thing, he had ''CONTACTS'' who placed the bets, It was all done in a secretive manner !!

I did win a big bet recently and sort of "retired" after that.I Can say the bookies are safely up on me.

Seems like a lot of work for a small profit but if it's for fun then it's not really a problem.
