Personally I think so
RUEL SOTIRIOU RETURNS TO E10

Re: RUEL SOTIRIOU RETURNS TO E10
About time he got the chance in games on the subs bench.
Dover tried to extend the loan, but we declined it. It sounds from Hess that there may be another chance in the future for him to go out on loan.
We should just pay Alabi off or get him to do an Elokobi somehow, I do think in January if the League position has not improved we badly need some better backups. Dennis ain't a striker.
Out of contract at the end of the season I believe? If the same standards for the other contract renewals is anything to go by, he surely has earned an extension already.

Valid point.
I look forward to welcoming Ruel back to E10 and wondering why he's not included in future matchday squads.

At last? Sending him out on loan in the first place a sensible decision.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 12:22 pm At last a sensible decision, lets hope he is in the squad for the next game

Hess; "If I was Leyton Orient I would be calling him back. Fair play to them for letting us have him".

Why not offer Alibi loan to Dover in replacementeagwgw wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 11:31 am About time he got the chance in games on the subs bench.

Re: RUEL SOTIRIOU RETURNS TO E10
If Ruel isn't at least on the bench for our next game than that would be very unfair on the lad to recall him . At least at Dover he was playing first team football and getting a bit of experience .Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 4:20 pm So next game, SURELY a place for Ruel in the team from kick off or on the bench in place of Alabi ?.........but dont hold your breath on that one !

He's been on loan at Dover before while at Tranmere.point nine one eight wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 11:22 pmWhy not offer Alibi loan to Dover in replacementeagwgw wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 11:31 am About time he got the chance in games on the subs bench.

Re: RUEL SOTIRIOU RETURNS TO E10
Looks like we are running out of options on how to get rid of him, he won't leave he's on too good a deal here, don't think he'l take a buy out either, maybe Martin has realized that, so trying to put him in the shop window, hoping some other stupid manager will shell out on himRedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 12:15 amHe's been on loan at Dover before while at Tranmere.point nine one eight wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 11:22 pmWhy not offer Alibi loan to Dover in replacementeagwgw wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 11:31 am About time he got the chance in games on the subs bench.

Re: RUEL SOTIRIOU RETURNS TO E10
Now he is back, hope the young man is give a chance, otherwise we may just as well have extended the loan. If these young players are not given opportunities, not sure how anyone will determine what they are capable of.

Re: RUEL SOTIRIOU RETURNS TO E10
Exactly !! Seems to me that RE shuns leaving out the senior players in order to give the young players a chance.
I think it would be a different story if Danny Webb or Jobie were in charge.
Lets face it, why are the club fixated with giving Alabi a chance when we could give an exciting talent like Ruel Sotiriou to call upon ?
Same goes for Hector Kyprianou and Ogie. Rather than give Ogie a chance on saturday, no instead play Sam Ling at left back ! Has RE got NO imagination or creative ideas at all when it comes to football tactics ?

Playing Sam Ling at left back, when there is a left back on the bench is criminal IMO.
As for Ruel......Ive been a fan for a while, and cant understand how he isnt playing, seeing as we've had injuries and suspensions to our strikers for weeks now.
It shows total ignorance to constantly ignore him in favour of Alabi

Re: RUEL SOTIRIOU RETURNS TO E10
Sid I kind of agree with you.
I said here a couple of weeks ago (I know others have been saying it for longer!) that Ogie should have been given a run out when Joe was injured. That was the time to see if he’s ready or not. If he needed further development he’d be out on loan, he isn’t so must be ready.
Ruel, I thought it was the right thing to do, I also thought they should have extended it further as his development is more important than the right here and now. Hopefully he is given a starting place in the next game as the wide right front man and Angol up top.
Hector is an amazing talent and maybe he needs to go out on loan at the NL level so as to find his feet, toughen him up further than he may already be and get him ready for first team football.

Re: RUEL SOTIRIOU RETURNS TO E10
Young players need to play as often as possible in order to hone their skills and gain confidence. Yes agree ''Hector is an amazing talent'' and I think that like Steven Alzate, he is a young player who will end up playing for a Championship or Premier League team.Thor wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 10:29 am Sid I kind of agree with you.

They probably think they are protecting the young players by not fielding them when we are in poor form.
